The Sylvaine pieces rose lace and dot mesh into a plunging one-piece with straps that cross low over an open back. The paneling is the quiet trick: lace where you want density, mesh where you want air, seamed so the eye travels the long way.
It photographs beautifully from behind — which, given the crossed straps and dot mesh, is rather the point.
